I used to be that kid who would wear all black on Valentine's Day. I hated the day filled with too much PDA, couples posting annoying Facebook statuses, girls walking around with huge stuffed bears. But then I realized that a holiday is a holiday. (And got over my eternal bitterness). A holiday is an excuse to be more festive than usual. And there is nothing I love more than being festive. Seriously.
Instead of choosing between pink or black, I just wore both! This is the kind of color combining I was wary of before, but now I'm easing up to it. And the double color just makes it all the more festive.
I hope everyone has a lovely holiday and I hope you all have the foresight to go out tomorrow and buy lots of chocolate ON SALE!

Love the contrast of red and pink. The lace in the top is so pretty! And I agree- it's a fun excuse to be extra festive, even if it's a holiday you don't care for :)
